Process breakdown for the design and modeling process of Rick's revolver. I started with an initial kitbash, modernizing Civil War era Colt revolvers. Orthogonals were created in Illustrator and the final model was created in Blender.

This is the result of side project I started to get more familiar with Blender's compositing and UV features. I chose to use an already designed weapon, the gun from Valve's 'Portal' series, to see how faithful I could be to an existing design.
UVs were created in Illustrator, while the image was modeled and rendered in Blender.
